Cleansing is an important part of any skincare routine. It's the first step in getting your face ready for everything else you do to it, and there are many different ways to cleanse your face. There are five main types of cleansers: clay masks, water-based cleansers, oil-based cleansers, exfoliators (physical scrubs), and enzyme serums. Each one has its own benefits, but they all share one thing in common: they're meant to remove impurities from your skin!

There are various types of methods to cleanse your face- double cleaning, cleansing water, moisturizer-based and oil-based.

    Double cleansing

Double cleansing is a process of washing your face twice in order to remove makeup and other impurities. It is also known as the two-step method. The first step involves using an oil-based cleanser, which helps break down makeup and dirt from skin pores more effectively than water does on its own. The second step uses a foaming or water-soluble product like a toner or facial mist, which helps clean out any remaining trace of oil from your face after you've already removed most of it with a cotton pad.

    The cleansing water method

The cleansing water method is a great way to remove makeup.

    • Use a cotton pad to apply the cleansing water. You can use any kind of cotton pad, but we recommend one made of 100% organic cotton which is infused with aloe vera, as they are soft on the skin and help avoid irritation.
    • Use the cleanser-dipped pad for makeup removal.
    • Repeat until you’ve covered all areas of your face in cleansing water. This may take some time if you have sensitive skin or wear heavy-duty makeup every day. It’s important that you make sure your entire face has been properly cleansed before moving on to other steps in your skincare routine because leaving residue behind can lead to breakouts and other issues down the road!
    • How often should you do this? As often as necessary for keeping your skin looking its best!

    The moisturizing method

The moisturizing method is especially good for dry or acne-prone skin because it cleanses gently and thoroughly, leaving your face feeling soft and supple. It’s also a great option if you have very sensitive skin that can be irritated by harsher cleansers.

To use this method, first wet your face with warm water. Then apply the moisturizer to a soft cotton pad and massage it over your entire face until it feels smooth and silky. Apply another round of the same product if needed—the idea is just to make sure all the makeup has been removed rather than stripping away all moisture from the skin in one go.

Once there's no more makeup on your face, rinse off any residue with warm water again—this time with no additional product—and pat dry with a clean towel before applying moisturizer directly onto freshly washed skin.

    The oil-based method

To use an oil-based cleanser, simply apply to a square cotton pad and use the exfoliating side of the cotton pad to gently massage the skin. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry. Oil-based cleansers are best for dry or mature skin that is prone to flaking, but they may not be suitable for oily or combination skin types. If you have oily skin and want to use an oil-based cleanser, try using it at night only. Oil-based cleansers are great for removing makeup (including waterproof mascara), sunscreen and dirt from your complexion—but they can also leave behind a residue that attracts more grime! To combat this problem, use the other clean side of the pad to remove any remaining product and then cleanse it with a gentle foaming cleanser designed for your skin type (or just rinse thoroughly).

Now you’re ready to start your own facial cleansing ritual! We hope that these tips have helped you to choose the right method for your skin type and needs, and we can’t wait to see how your new routine turns out.
